For many years on the wall of Bembridge Fire Station there has hung a beautifully transcribed framed poem, at the bottom of which is stated - The above poem is placed here in memory of Olive Harbour, a former A.F.S. Firewoman in the village. She was the wife of Oliver A. Harbour, B.E.M., who served locally for 39 years including 17 as Station Officer.
