Fireman Thomas John Healey

Fireman Thomas John Healey was killed during the bombing of Shanklin on 3 January 1943 when the requisitioned Gloster Hotel, temporary headquarters of the Shanklin Company of National Fire Service Fire Force 14d took a direct hit from a 500kg bomb.

Sadly very little is known of Thomas except that at the time of his death he was married to Ethel May and their home address was 14 West Howe Road, Kinson, Bournemouth.
